Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Moore in the 7th minute of play forced Thame's goalkeeper Shaun Newby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Thame's Isaac Mansfield sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicky Walters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Larry Moore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Seagulls FC booed when Thame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Alderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Ritchie Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seagulls FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ritchie Forrest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seagulls FC's Ritchie Forrest got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicky Walters acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kevin Humphreys. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Moore in the 26th minute of play forced Thame's goalkeeper Shaun Newby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritchie Forrest struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Shaun Newby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seagulls FC. Ritchie Forrest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Newby having to interfere. Shaun Newby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ritchie Forrest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald McCunnie in the 34th minute of play. Nicky Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald McCunnie in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Thame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Walker to maneuver through the defense. Ritchie Forrest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Newby having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald McCunnie in the 42nd minute of play forced Seagulls FC's goalkeeper Nicky Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thame's Isaac Mansfield was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Larry Moore made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Thame's Donald McCunnie made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicky Walters was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ritchie Forrest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Thame's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Moore came free, but Shaun Newby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Larry Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Seagulls FC booed when Thame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaun Newby made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ritchie Forrest sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thame's goalkeeper Shaun Newby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicky Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mansfield in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Mansfield in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicky Walters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Donald McCunnie came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Thame fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald McCunnie couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Isaac Mansfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicky Walters was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Kevin Alderson's late challenge caught a Seagulls FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Alderson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Thame's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ritchie Forrest fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thame were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seagulls FC for a fine match.
