After 10 played minutes Bhatti Slappers F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Clayton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doug Leather in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Barnfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Picker, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Ainsworth in the 20th minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Palmer had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Doug Leather from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 26th minute, Rick Ainsworth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riseley United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Riseley United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. The supporters of Riseley United booed when Bhatti Slappers F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Clayton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guy Barnfield didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Rockett went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Bhatti Slappers F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Rockett came free, but Guy Barnfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harvey Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Leather in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lewis Picker was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Riseley United's Rick Ainsworth got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute, Dean Rockett reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guy Barnfield. The goal made the score 1-5. Trey Newton scored 1-6 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Barnfield, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harvey Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Leather in the 78th minute of play. Bhatti Slappers F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Trey Newton scored to the left of an out of position Guy Barnfield, making the score, 1-7. In the 85th minute, Rick Ainsworth made a precise shot to the right of Guy Barnfield. Bhatti Slappers F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. In the 90th minute, Riseley United's Lewis Picker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9.
