A very good chance for a goal. Rio Rowling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alfred Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joey Monk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Austen Stone's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Austen Stone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Monk having to interfere. If Austen Stone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Johnny Salmon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luxirare and the South Benfleet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Luxirare getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Johnny Salmon hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Luxirare defense, Austen Stone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Monk. The Luxirare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Monk should have stopped the shot. Joey Monk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austen Stone in the 42nd minute of play. Rowan Timiney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joey Monk. Luxirare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Luxirare defense, Alistair Kirk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Monk. The Luxirare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Monk should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to South Benfleet FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Danny Humphreys hit a great ball. Austen Stone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Austen Stone came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the South Benfleet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Austen Stone couldn't finish the play. Alistair Kirk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes in the game, Austen Stone fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joey Monk having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, South Benfleet FC's Austen Stone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joey Monk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luxirare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danny Humphreys was slow to take the kick. During this time South Benfleet FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Danny Humphreys got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joey Monk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 78th minute, Luke Sedgemore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Rowling in the 81st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Austen Stone took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Joey Monk to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute, Marek Wring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Hunt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Austen Stone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. South Benfleet FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joey Monk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austen Stone in the 98th minute of play. The Luxirare fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. South Benfleet FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
