After 19 played minutes, Luxirare's Jeffrey Beaumont shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wayne Boothroyd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luxirare reached it. After 22 minutes of play Luxirare's Johnny Salmon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Luxirare getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Johnny Salmon hit a great ball. Marek Wring's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wayne Boothroyd firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Osp boys's Wayne Boothroyd got control of the ball when Marek Wring tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marek Wring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wayne Boothroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joey Monk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Al Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Monk having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Al Sinclair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joey Monk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Joey Monk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Sinclair in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Osp boys's Al Sinclair made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joey Monk was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Osp boys defense, Marek Wring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wayne Boothroyd. The Osp boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wayne Boothroyd should have stopped the shot. When Al Sinclair came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Osp boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Al Sinclair couldn't finish the play. Al Sinclair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Joey Monk made a huge save. Osp boys's Al Sinclair got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Luxirare got a freekick which was hit by Rio Rowling. Rio Rowling's late challenge caught a Osp boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rio Rowling helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Rio Rowling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ed Connell, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joey Monk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Al Sinclair in the 78th minute. Alf Carter charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Carter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Osp boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Carter to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Marek Wring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wayne Boothroyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Sinclair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Joey Monk made a huge save. Wayne Boothroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Wring in the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Luxirare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Al Sinclair fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luxirare had won after a very even match.
