An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Emberson in the 18th minute of play forced Sheffield FC's goalkeeper Robert Morrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jasper Emberson made a kick off.
