Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ozzy Parkinson got the match started through his kick off. Ozzy Parkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. George Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Grant Lagdon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Border Jets FC's Philip Barratt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ozzy Parkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. George Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Davies made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ozzy Parkinson sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes Newton Aycliffe United got a freekick which was hit by Johnnie Richardson. Newton Aycliffe United's George Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Parkinson in the 24th minute of play. Grant Lagdon took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Barratt. Philip Barratt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Hatcher got free with George Davies in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Davies made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ozzy Parkinson in the 40th minute. A collision led to Border Jets FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ruben Britton hit a great ball. Rupert Howarth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Border Jets FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newton Aycliffe United were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grant Lagdon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Parkinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Johnnie Richardson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newton Aycliffe United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Border Jets FC the free kick. The supporters of Border Jets FC booed when Newton Aycliffe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Richardson didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Chambers in the 60th minute of play. Rupert Hotte kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Grant Lagdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Ozzy Parkinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. George Davies was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Waltham in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Newton Aycliffe United's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Parkinson came free, but George Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Davies came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Border Jets FC's Freddie Hatcher. But to his dismay, Freddie Hatcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Shane Waltham made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ozzy Parkinson however managed to control. Newton Aycliffe United's George Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Hatcher in the 85th minute of play. Freddie Hatcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Davies having to interfere. Border Jets FC's Ozzy Parkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Border Jets FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
