Niall Ferdinand started the match with the kick off. Syd Paget received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Barney Harland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Syd Paget got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barney Harland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Jenkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Barney Harland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stan Jenkinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brynn Gallacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Harland having to interfere. If Glen Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Transnistria FA's goalkeeper Seb Crowther had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glen Cross. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stan Jenkinson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barney Harland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Stan Jenkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Stan Jenkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Transnistria FA's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Jenkinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barney Harland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevie Gaskell kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Transnistria FA's Seb Crowther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niall Ferdinand in the 41st minute of play. If Stewart Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stan Jenkinson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mighty Minstermen - Leeds's zone, Ronny Land stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Harland came out of the goal and Ronny Land tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Transnistria FA fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Transnistria FA's Stan Jenkinson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 62 minutes into the match, Mighty Minstermen - Leeds's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Jenkinson came free, but Barney Harland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Will Bannister made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Transnistria FA's Thom Tandy. After a defensive mix-up in Mighty Minstermen - Leeds's zone, Stewart Davenport stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Harland came out of the goal and Stewart Davenport tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stewart Davenport fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Harland having to interfere. When Syd Paget came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Transnistria FA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syd Paget couldn't finish the play. Stewart Davenport recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lewis Rotherfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Barney Harland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mighty Minstermen - Leeds's goalkeeper Barney Harland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute Stewart Davenport shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Harland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Niall Ferdinand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Seb Crowther was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barney Harland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Jenkinson in the 92nd minute of the match.
