Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Piers Broadhead started the match with the kick off. Piers Broadhead's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Bowen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Honiton getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Brandon Halliday hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Piers Broadhead managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honiton's supporters rose to their feet, but Piers Broadhead was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Bowen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Bowen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piers Broadhead, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Sam Bagshaw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reject United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Marlon Oatway's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Bowen was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Reject United FC's attentive Garth Knightley managed to snatch the ball when Laurence Walls made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Honiton's Drew Vickers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walter Bowen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Garry Malpeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luke Horner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garry Malpeli ran back to his position shaking his head. Luke Horner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Malpeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sean Kenna kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garry Malpeli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garry Malpeli scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Horner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenny Shaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Drew Vickers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Kenna got free with Luke Horner in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Lenny Shaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Halliday hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Honiton's Luke Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Malpeli in the 71st minute of play. If Lenny Shaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reject United FC's Garth Knightley managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Laurence Walls in the 76 minute of the game. The throw-in from Drew Vickers in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Reject United FC's Ethan Sissons. Laurence Walls's late challenge caught a Reject United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurence Walls helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Honiton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Walls to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Garry Malpeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reject United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garry Malpeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenny Shaw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Horner having to make a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Garry Malpeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reject United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garry Malpeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sam Bagshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luke Horner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Reject United FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Honiton.
