Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Micheal Sawyer started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Owen Le Saux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Stars FC and the Ironville United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes All Stars FC got a freekick which was hit by Owen Le Saux. In the 5th minute, Ironville United's Gav Plumber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Chiverton. Frank Chiverton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of All Stars FC booed when Ironville United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gav Plumber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martyn Fleetwood kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Micheal Sawyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes All Stars FC got a freekick which was hit by Zane Sollit. Jerome Barrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zane Sollit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gav Plumbers short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Frank Chiverton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ironville United's Micheal Sawyer managed to work through All Stars FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Micheal Sawyer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Micheal Sawyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Chiverton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, All Stars FC's Michael Harper got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Martyn Fleetwood sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and All Stars FC's Frank Chiverton didn't even have to move. Owen Le Saux kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ironville United booed when All Stars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owen Le Saux didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gav Plumber, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Frank Chiverton was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, All Stars FC's Nicky Earnshaw got a free kick in the 36th minute. Owen Le Saux was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 41st match minute, All Stars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Le Saux to maneuver through the defense. Frank Chiverton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gav Plumber went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Gav Plumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Coulson kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Frank Chiverton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Plumber in the 54th minute of play. Zane Sollit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, All Stars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Coulson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Micheal Sawyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Chiverton was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Gav Plumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Chiverton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Plumber in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Micheal Sawyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ironville United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micheal Sawyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Chiverton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Sawyer in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Micheal Sawyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ironville United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micheal Sawyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Zane Sollit managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zane Sollit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Barrow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 played minutes Ironville United got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Hylton. A collision led to All Stars FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. George Bramhall hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Martyn Fleetwood sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and All Stars FC's Frank Chiverton didn't even have to move. Micheal Sawyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ironville United had won after a very even match.
