Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Flushing's Vinnie Harris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Flushing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Bamford to maneuver through the defense. Philip Winterbottom came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by All Stars FC's Zane Sollit. But to his dismay, Zane Sollit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Jerry McGovern dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frank Chiverton, 1-1. In the 19th minute, Vinnie Harris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Chiverton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinnie Harris in the 29th minute of the match. Verne Cook had several of the All Stars FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Frank Chiverton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Verne Cook struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Frank Chiverton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flushing. 42 minutes into the match, Zane Sollit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Winterbottom. Flushing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zane Sollit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to Flushing getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jerry McGovern hit a great ball. After 48 minutes of play, Flushing's Verne Cook made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Chiverton was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Verne Cook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinnie Harris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zane Sollit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Owen Le Saux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Verne Cook came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Flushing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verne Cook couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Vinnie Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Chiverton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinnie Harris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frank Chiverton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vinnie Harris came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Flushing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinnie Harris couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, All Stars FC's George Bramhall got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Verne Cook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Flushing's zone, Kyle Spink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Winterbottom came out of the goal and Kyle Spink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marek Coulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Zane Sollit got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Flushing were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of All Stars FC for a fine match.
