Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carl Lambert made the kick off which started today's match. Mick Blewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Bastow in the 3rd minute of play. Mick Blewitt made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Rueben Hinshelwood sent off a good shot on target. Rueben Hinshelwood who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Mick Blewitt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Pete Basham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mick Blewitt. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 17th match minute, googs n moos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Fearns to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Carl Lambert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but googs n moos's Matthew Airton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rueben Hinshelwood got free with Mick Blewitt in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, googs n moos's Pete Basham got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Wigmore United's Mick Blewitt got control of the ball when Rueben Hinshelwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Wigmore United's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Bastow came free, but Mick Blewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Lambert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthew Airton came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Wigmore United's Kirk Lydiate. But to his dismay, Kirk Lydiate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Rueben Hinshelwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mick Blewitt made a huge save. Pete Basham kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malcolm Bastow made a kick off. Mick Blewitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Major went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Mick Blewitt came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by googs n moos's Malcolm Bastow. But to his dismay, Malcolm Bastow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 58 minutes into the match, Rueben Hinshelwood notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Wigmore United's Mick Blewitt. Mick Blewitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Carl Lambert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Airton was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Jerry Fearns notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Wigmore United's Mick Blewitt. Mick Blewitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Carl Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mick Blewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rueben Hinshelwood in the 69th minute of play. Wigmore United's Mick Blewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Basham in the 71st minute of play. Mick Blewitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Bastow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
