Stu Slabber started the match with the kick off. Denzil Pearch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Piercy having to interfere. Ivan Mumford was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 8 minutes, Huey Simms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beijing guan f.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huey Simms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Beijing guan f.C's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Slabber came free, but Barry Woodier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Streatham AFC's zone, Huey Simms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Piercy came out of the goal and Huey Simms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Denzil Pearch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Piercy. Streatham AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denzil Pearch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Beijing guan f.C's Barry Woodier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stu Slabber in the 20th minute of play. Denzil Pearch made a nice solo performance in the 22nd minute, and after some fine dribblings he sent off a powerful shot that went into the goal just inside the left post, 2-0. Beijing guan f.C's attentive Huey Simms managed to snatch the ball when Kirk Addison made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Streatham AFC's Tommy Piercy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denzil Pearch in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Stu Slabber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Streatham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stu Slabber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Woodier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim Marchant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Barry Woodier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Beijing guan f.C booed when Streatham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stewart Dixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Huey Simms tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Piercy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denzil Pearch to strike the kick off in the second half. Denzil Pearch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huey Simms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tommy Piercy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Stu Slabber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Tim Marchant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Streatham AFC and the Beijing guan f.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, Beijing guan f.C's Denzil Pearch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Piercy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 73 minutes, Huey Simms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beijing guan f.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huey Simms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Piercy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denzil Pearch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Streatham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Huey Simms came free, but Tommy Piercy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Denzil Pearch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Piercy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Tommy Piercy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denzil Pearch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Streatham AFC's goalkeeper Tommy Piercy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Denzil Pearch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beijing guan f.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denzil Pearch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Denzil Pearch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beijing guan f.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Beijing guan f.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
