The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Paul Croft to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 83 in the game by Miles Lister from a close distance when the talented Fitz Parkinson managed to make a qualified save. GKS Diament's players were relieved. Teddy McDonald took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fitz Parkinson. Fitz Parkinson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Diament's zone, Miles Lister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fitz Parkinson came out of the goal and Miles Lister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teddy McDonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fitz Parkinson came out and tried to block the shot, but Teddy McDonald slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy McDonald in the 97th minute of play forced GKS Diament's goalkeeper Fitz Parkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Tzarevetz FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GKS Diament throughout the match.
