Miles Lister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dale Warner made a huge save. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy McDonald in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Jórvik FC booed when Tzarevetz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Lineker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Jórvik FC's Callum Winterburn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Austin Hird came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jórvik FC reached it. Austin Hird showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny McGrath, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Tzarevetz FC's Mickey Clist got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teddy McDonald sped through Jórvik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dale Warner. Austin Hird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny McGrath in the 25th minute of play. Dale Warner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy McDonald in the 36th minute of the match. Tzarevetz FC's Miles Lister got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miles Lister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Hinchcliffe in the 48th minute of play forced Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Miles Lister sped through Jórvik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dale Warner. In the 58th match minute, Tzarevetz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lobb to maneuver through the defense. Jonny McGrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Austin Hird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st play minute Danny Gilchrist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Austin Hird. 2-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tzarevetz FC's Austin Hird proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Tzarevetz FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miles Lister in the 69th minute of play forced Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy McDonald in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Warner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Teddy McDonald notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Jórvik FC's Dale Warner. Dale Warner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the game, Teddy McDonald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tzarevetz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jórvik FC the free kick. Danny Gilchrist scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Austin Hird, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dale Warner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miles Lister went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 87th match minute, Jórvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Bower to maneuver through the defense. Miles Lister blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Warner having to make a save. After having played for 93 minutes, Teddy McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tzarevetz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy McDonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jórvik FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
