Bill Cryan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gez Foggarty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Nathanial Oliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werrington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Slovan Liberec the free kick. Nathanial Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gez Foggarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Cryan in the 22nd minute of the match. Zack Hirst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gez Foggarty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, FC Slovan Liberec's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Nightingale came free, but Damian Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Baird in the 45th minute of play. Steve Nightingale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Robinson having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristopher Baird stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steve Nightingale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Robinson having to interfere. After 61 played minutes FC Slovan Liberec got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Clark. With his leg Damian Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Werrington's Steve Nightingale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Steve Nightingale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Damian Robinson made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Bill Cryan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Werrington's Gez Foggarty. Gez Foggarty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Werrington booed when FC Slovan Liberec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beinn Rundle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristopher Baird kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Kristopher Baird fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Beinn Rundle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Slovan Liberec and the Werrington players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Beinn Rundle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Werrington players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Slovan Liberec.
