Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carl Pell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Smith in the 20th minute of play forced Kemsing's goalkeeper Carl Pell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Vazquez having to interfere. In the 38th minute Lance Kelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, HULL CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylon Jones came free, but Frankie Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylon Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kemsing's Lance Kelly in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HULL CITY FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Kemsing booed when HULL CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlon Stobbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lance Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kemsing's Dylon Jones got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Kelly struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Frankie Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemsing. Lance Kelly in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The tension between the HULL CITY FC and the Kemsing players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, HULL CITY FC's Ian Blake got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kemsing's zone, Ivor Boyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Pell came out of the goal and Ivor Boyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frankie Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylon Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylon Jones in the 73rd minute of play forced HULL CITY FC's goalkeeper Frankie Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lance Kelly came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Kemsing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lance Kelly couldn't finish the play. HULL CITY FC's Frankie Vazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save HULL CITY FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kemsing booed when HULL CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Ronson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Kemsing got a corner. HULL CITY FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fraser Miller ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mitch Fordham hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Max Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lance Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemsing's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frankie Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kemsing were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
