The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Kingston got free with Gregory Archer in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gavin Pell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Orson Brimble. 9 minutes into the game, Tottenham's Orson Brimble nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toby Blewitt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathon Kingston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gregory Archer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stratford-upon-Avon FC booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Barker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stratford-upon-Avon FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 24th minute of the game, when Sean Pilkington after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Tottenham's goal. Sean Pilkington was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Toby Blewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasey Talbot in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kasey Talbot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toby Blewitt was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The supporters of Tottenham booed when Stratford-upon-Avon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Cartwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasey Talbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Blewitt having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Stratford-upon-Avon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orson Brimble came free, but Toby Blewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Rufus Cartwright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Stratford-upon-Avon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tottenham were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orson Brimble made a kick off. When Kasey Talbot came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tottenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasey Talbot couldn't finish the play. If Orson Brimble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Blewitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orson Brimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasey Talbot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Toby Blewitt made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Stratford-upon-Avon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orson Brimble came free, but Toby Blewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Toby Blewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orson Brimble in the 87th minute of play. Kasey Talbot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Toby Blewitt made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tottenham had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
