Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tyler Osbon started the match with the kick off. Pat Willoughby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Osbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 24th minute, INVASION's Sean Hackney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacob Hughes. Jacob Hughes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 28 played minutes Sean Hackney rounded Thame's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Gez Adams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Hughes having to make a save. Tyler Osbon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Willoughby having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tyler Osbon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thame's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyler Osbon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pat Willoughby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Thame booed when INVASION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garth Sheldon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tyler Osbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Hackney was the one to do the kick off. Tyler Osbon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garth Sheldon during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thame's Zak Whitworth pulled a muscle in his leg after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. INVASION's Garth Sheldon got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Garth Sheldon off the ground. 63 minutes into the match, INVASION's Gez Adams sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sean Hackney fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INVASION's protests and gave Sean Hackney a yellow card for diving instead. Gez Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Hughes having to interfere. Sean Hackney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jacob Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Gez Adams made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Hughes. Thame's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Jacob Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Adams in the 83rd minute of the match. Stuart Gurney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stuart Gurney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pat Willoughby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INVASION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
