When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luke Rockett made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Al Woodman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rhys Brearley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Al Woodman kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bootle United's keeper Rhys Brearley was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 57th minute of the match Stone got a corner. Bootle United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damien Hendley ran over to the corner to take the kick. Damien Hendley made a great header on Stone's corner, it was just that Bootle United's Rhys Brearley managed to reach the ball for a save. After 58 played minutes Bootle United got a freekick which was hit by Sam Barrett. Al Woodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sam Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhys Brearley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Luke Rockett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone's supporters rose to their feet, but Luke Rockett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Brearley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luke Rockett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rhys Brearley having to make a save. Luke Rockett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Stone's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon Smith came free, but Sean Drysdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bootle United's Tod Kearney got a free kick in the 86th minute. Luke Rockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Brearley having to interfere. Rhys Brearley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. After a rather tough play, Bootle United's Benjamin Hughes got a free kick in the 97th minute.
