Przemo Exeter's Trey Avery got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danny Rayner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trey Avery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Warren Porter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trey Avery stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trey Avery might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack Dove. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trey Avery didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-6 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Przemo Exeter's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Millwall FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Eddy Warne scored to the left of an out of position Jack Dove, making the score, 1-7. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Trey Avery got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Eddy Warne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Lawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Millwall FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Trey Avery 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-8. Ralph Willis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jack Dove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Przemo Exeter could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Millwall FC throughout the match.
