Hashtag United's Harvey Beadle got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hashtag United's goalkeeper Charlie Broom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd play minute Kris Davies came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aaron Coogan. 2-0. Kris Davies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Aaron Coogan made a huge save. Philip Jennings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aaron Coogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garry Moss charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garry Moss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hashtag United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Russ Burbeary made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Hashtag United's Kris Davies made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Coogan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charlie Broom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russ Burbeary, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Kris Davies made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Coogan. Wheaton Aston City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Russ Burbeary's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Broom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Russ Burbeary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wheaton Aston City's goalkeeper Aaron Coogan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Joey Curtis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Davies in the 79th minute of play forced Wheaton Aston City's goalkeeper Aaron Coogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wheaton Aston City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hashtag United.
