Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) David Gettins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pat Burns in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paddy Carpenter saved FC ZUPANY from getting behind. A collision led to FC ZUPANY getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Darius Byfield hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Doug West hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pat Burns was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ZUPANY's goalkeeper Paddy Carpenter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paddy Carpenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Burns in the 16th minute of the match. Jasper Rawson scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leigh Bullard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leigh Bullard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug West in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Gettins in the 28th minute of play forced British Knights's goalkeeper Leigh Bullard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. British Knights's Leigh Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug West in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to British Knights getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ivan Sanderson hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, FC ZUPANY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Bow to maneuver through the defense. Leigh Bullard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Land, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Paddy Carpenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Rooney in the 42nd minute of the match. Paddy Carpenter was a little too slow when Pat Burns got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pat Burns was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC ZUPANY's Darius Byfield got a free kick in the 52nd minute. British Knights's Leigh Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Gettins in the 54th minute of play. After 57 played minutes FC ZUPANY got a freekick which was hit by Barrie Amos. Paddy Carpenter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pat Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The British Knights fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when British Knights's Pat Burns looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Doug West charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doug West the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of British Knights booed when FC ZUPANY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doug West didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pat Burns kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC ZUPANY's Doug West got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute David Gettins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leigh Bullard was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Doug West capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doug West really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, British Knights's goal looked a bit too open when David Gettins came free, but Leigh Bullard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Doug West shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leigh Bullard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Gettins in the 90th minute of play. British Knights's Pat Burns got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Philip Poate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The British Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
