Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivan Weedon took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Allison in the 3rd minute of play forced Whitechapel's goalkeeper Michael Ramsden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Owen Giles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Ramsden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Allison in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Whitechapel's zone, Owen Giles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Ramsden came out of the goal and Owen Giles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Owen Giles notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Whitechapel's Michael Ramsden. Michael Ramsden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Garth Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Ramsden having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Allison in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Ramsden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Whitechapel's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Allison came free, but Michael Ramsden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Whitechapel got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Brewer. 29 minutes into the match, Garth Allison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Ramsden. Whitechapel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Allison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 35 minutes into the game, Dominic Cotton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitechapel the free kick. Owen Giles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Garth Allison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevie Pell kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Garth Allison made the kick off in the second half. Garth Allison who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Michael Ramsden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Garth Allison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Michael Ramsden made a huge save. After some careless play in the Whitechapel defense, Garth Allison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Ramsden. The Whitechapel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Ramsden should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Whitechapel's goalkeeper Michael Ramsden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Allison. A sloppy throw-in by Stevie Pell in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolton's Gav Jones. In the 81st minute, Bolton's Gav Jones ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Ramsden. Michael Ramsden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 85th minute, Garth Allison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garth Allison kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
