Gav Spink might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zackary Haper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gav Spink ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Donnington United! The referee gave F C Tufeni a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ethan Bradley, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Donnington United's Karl Pitt. 1-1. In the 37th minute Denzil Marchant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ash Bramble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes of play Donnington United's Liam Sears was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gav Spink in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zackary Haper prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
