Matias Bulhosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Garner-Currie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. London Athletic's David Van Der Hoorn quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sean Armitstead, made in the 26th minute of the game. Louie Medlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Dexter having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Louie Medlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reigate FC's Adrian Dexter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Louie Medlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Dexter having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louie Medlin was the one to do the kick off. Sol Schofield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Adrian Dexter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Garner-Currie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Louie Medlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Adrian Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Medlin in the 79th minute of the match. Rod Knowles hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Reigate FC's Adrian Dexter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Medlin in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 minutes, Garth Peakman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reigate FC and the London Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reigate FC's Garth Peakman got a free kick in the 85th minute.
