After 10 minutes of play, Wareham's Jack Lawson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liam Bray was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 13 minutes, Justin Midson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wareham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Midson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guy Wiley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Milton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brynn Sedgemore during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Blandford Forum booed when Wareham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brynn Sedgemore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Lewis Milton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wareham's Guy Wiley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Nelson in the 24th minute of play. When Wareham's Justin Midson in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guy Wilson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lewis Milton hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Jack Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Bray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Midson in the 37th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jack Broadhurst in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wareham's Frankie Bradfield. Liam Bray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Lawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Wiley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lewis Milton's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Blandford Forum's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Midson came free, but Liam Bray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blandford Forum's Liam Bray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Midson in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blandford Forum's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Wilson was slow to take the kick. During this time Wareham's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Wareham's Guy Wilson to fire away a dangerous shot which Liam Bray despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guy Wilson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lewis Milton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Wareham booed when Blandford Forum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Nelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Justin Midson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Guy Wilson sped through Blandford Forum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Liam Bray. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Wilson in the 76th minute of play forced Blandford Forum's goalkeeper Liam Bray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justin Midson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Liam Bray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wareham's Guy Wiley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syd Pallister in the 87th minute of play. Brynn Sedgemore got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Wareham getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Brynn Sedgemore hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Milton in the 94th minute of play forced Wareham's goalkeeper Guy Wiley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
