Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oscar Heath kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Ethan Corrigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tod Wild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Hernan Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Executive Crew's Louie Sherwood got control of the ball when Hernan Gerazan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ethan Corrigan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ethan Corrigan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barking booed when Executive Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Corrigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Executive Crew's zone, Hernan Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Sherwood came out of the goal and Hernan Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tod Wild made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Corrigan in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Barking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Cooke to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Charlie Cooke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louie Sherwood was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Gerazan in the 35th minute of play forced Executive Crew's goalkeeper Louie Sherwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Rowan Warner in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barking's Fitz Panther. Alan Thorn kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Gerazan to make the kick off. The supporters of Executive Crew booed when Barking was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Oscar Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Executive Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Heath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tod Wild breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Barking's goalkeeper Tod Wild had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Heath. After 62 minutes, Laurence Rose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barking and the Executive Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trey Goacher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Fitz Panther fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barking's protests and gave Fitz Panther a yellow card for diving instead. Fitz Panther kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Barking's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
