Remus Neacșu scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Vitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Wilson in the 6th minute of play. Vinicio Vitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Neacșu went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 12 minutes, Ted Wilson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Wilson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roehampton Raptors's Vinicio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Wilson in the 14th minute of play. Roehampton Raptors's attentive Aşır Dahi managed to snatch the ball when David Amos made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. 1-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Aşır Dahi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alastair Sugden to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dominic Ainsworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vinicio Vitin made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Quadros during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Neacșu in the 87th minute of play forced Roehampton Raptors's goalkeeper Vinicio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Winchester FC's Ted Wilson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vinicio Vitin. Vinicio Vitin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. After 92 played minutes Winchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Camron Mann. The crowd rose to their feet as Remus Neacșu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinicio Vitin. That made the score 1-8 in the 95 minute of play. Winchester FC played a much better game than Roehampton Raptors and deserved their victory. The Roehampton Raptors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
