After 47 minutes, Aquilino Novais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mooie Flamingos and the Broken bottles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquilino Novais hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Broken bottles FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mooie Flamingos were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silviu Balaci to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Balaci in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Simms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barrie Crouch might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Simms. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Barrie Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mooie Flamingos's supporters rose to their feet, but Barrie Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dean Simms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Silviu Balaci made a precise shot to the right of Dean Simms. Broken bottles FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 93rd minute, Silviu Balaci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dean Simms stood somewhat misplaced when Silviu Balaci came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 95 minute. The Broken bottles FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mooie Flamingos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
