Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) Fk Levice's Matej Rafaj started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Club Kanguru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Juhás to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fk Levice's Ladislav Olbert tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matej Rafaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Keblušek might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Carey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Keblušek ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Martin Keblušek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fk Levice's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Keblušek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Carey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fk Levice's Juraj Venglarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Michalovič in the 16th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Sporting Club Kanguru got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Vittek. Pavol Michalovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juraj Venglarčík having to interfere. Juraj Venglarčík came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Kanguru's Pavol Michalovič. But to his dismay, Pavol Michalovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fk Levice's zone, Pavol Michalovič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juraj Venglarčík came out of the goal and Pavol Michalovič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Stanislav Vittek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fk Levice's Juraj Venglarčík was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Keblušek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eric Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Matej Rafaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fk Levice's supporters rose to their feet, but Matej Rafaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Carey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juraj Venglarčík came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Kanguru's Pavol Michalovič. But to his dismay, Pavol Michalovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Stanislav Vittek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juraj Venglarčík was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Pavol Michalovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juraj Venglarčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Vittek in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Pavol Michalovič made a precise shot to the right of Juraj Venglarčík. Fk Levice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Juraj Venglarčík didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislav Vittek went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Eric Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Hošták, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Stanislav Vittek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Club Kanguru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Vittek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Tobiarčík during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Keblušek might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Carey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Keblušek ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Rafaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Fk Levice's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislav Vittek came free, but Juraj Venglarčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Martin Keblušek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavol Michalovič in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juraj Venglarčík, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fk Levice's Juraj Venglarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Vittek in the 98th minute of play.
