When Andrej Salaj came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vyhne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrej Salaj couldn't finish the play. FC ČOV Svätý Jur's Matúš Kmiť played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Salaj in the 8th minute of play. Matúš Kmiť showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Salaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomáš Hošták charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomáš Hošták the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrej Salaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Kmiť having to interfere. Tomáš Hošták was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, FC ČOV Svätý Jur's Tomáš Hošták got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dušan Černák struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Matúš Kmiť didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vyhne FC. After 35 played minutes Vyhne FC got a freekick which was hit by Matej Cifranič. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vyhne FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mário Šuraba was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ČOV Svätý Jur's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mário Šuraba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vyhne FC's Vladislav Gott did a great save. In the 40th minute, Antón Gombuš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vyhne FC's Dušan Černák got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vyhne FC's Andrej Salaj got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dušan Černák was the one to do the kick off. Marek Šajna's late challenge caught a Vyhne FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Dušan Černák reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matúš Kmiť. The goal made the score 0-1. Vyhne FC's Dušan Černák got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matúš Kmiť made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrej Salaj in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC ČOV Svätý Jur's zone, Dušan Černák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matúš Kmiť came out of the goal and Dušan Černák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marek Šajna was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Marek Šajna hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dušan Černák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Dušan Černák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matúš Kmiť saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Vyhne FC's Andrej Salaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matúš Kmiť made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Vyhne FC's Dušan Černák in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
