The supporters of Pikachu FK booed when 1.FC Petrzalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Curea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Gál hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Emil Petrov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Petrzalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pikachu FK the free kick. The supporters of Pikachu FK booed when 1.FC Petrzalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Petrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mojmír Kozár's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Voitiş was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Pikachu FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Ján Vajda scored to the left of an out of position Peter Žák, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as 1.FC Petrzalka's Nils-Emil Vollander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Žák. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. David Curea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Žák having to interfere. A collision led to 1.FC Petrzalka getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Peter Šebest hit a great ball. Pikachu FK's Róbert Gál got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Medveď hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, 1.FC Petrzalka's goal looked a bit too open when Mojmír Kozár came free, but Filip Voitiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ján Vajda might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Žák. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ján Vajda ran back to his position shaking his head. Pikachu FK's Peter Žák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Curea in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbert Gál to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mojmír Kozár got free with Filip Voitiş in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Curea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Žák having to interfere. Mojmír Kozár was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Pikachu FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 63rd match minute, 1.FC Petrzalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Curea to maneuver through the defense. Emil Petrov lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 71st match minute, 1.FC Petrzalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Petrov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Róbert Gál managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mojmír Kozár got free with Filip Voitiş in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes Pikachu FK got a freekick which was hit by Marek Figa. Róbert Gál received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Filip Voitiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mojmír Kozár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Voitiş having to interfere. 1.FC Petrzalka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pikachu FK for a fine match.
