Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) Jaroslav Žnidarič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miha Faguer having to interfere. Miha Faguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslav Žnidarič in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Baldomir Sekirnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolonije Vogrinčič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redžep Šumnik having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Mislinja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vojislav Višnjar to maneuver through the defense. Janez Matuha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Trzin FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jurij Ropret fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Apolonije Vogrinčič blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Redžep Šumnik having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Mislinja FC's Bore Krstić got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jaroslav Žnidarič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Miha Faguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trzin FC's Janez Matuha got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trzin FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nelfi Bizjak was slow to take the kick. During this time Mislinja FC's players had a chance to rest. Mislinja FC's Nelfi Bizjak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miha Faguer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolonije Vogrinčič was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Trzin FC's Frančišek Pajsar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Redžep Šumnik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mislinja FC's Redžep Šumnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mislinja FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mislinja FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Virgil Kern hit a great ball. Jurij Ropret took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miha Faguer. Miha Faguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolonije Vogrinčič in the 67th minute of play forced Mislinja FC's goalkeeper Redžep Šumnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blagoje Doljac charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blagoje Doljac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mislinja FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaus Potisek during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miha Faguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Žnidarič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Apolonije Vogrinčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomir Sekirnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mislinja FC booed when Trzin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Potisek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurij Ropret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Miha Faguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trzin FC's Miha Faguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslav Žnidarič in the 92nd minute of play. If Jaroslav Žnidarič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Trzin FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
