When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tihomir Verderber made a kick off. Elio Bizjak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staš Cepec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gusari's Davide Gicić got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Štefan Trošt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gusari's Borislav Semprimožnik didn't even have to move. Bojči Renko kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Borislav Semprimožnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitodrag Hižak in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Bad Blue Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egidij Kapun to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Branimir Kušnik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elio Bizjak skillfully saved the ball. Moreno Čižić hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Staš Cepec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Bad Blue Boys's Elio Bizjak got control of the ball when Staš Cepec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Staš Cepec struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Elio Bizjak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gusari. The audience was convinced that Tihomir Verderber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elio Bizjak was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. If Davide Gicić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gusari players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
