Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of NK Kočevje booed when NK Kranj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Božidar Jodanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NK Kočevje's zone, Erol Kikelj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal and Erol Kikelj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Sanel Hovnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdo Platiše in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zorko Andrić saved NK Kočevje from getting behind. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdo Platiše in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, NK Kranj's Dragoljub Kopše sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zorko Andrić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zorko Andrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol Kikelj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rios Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Ahlin in the 21st minute of the match. Ferdo Platiše recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erol Kikelj came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the NK Kranj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erol Kikelj couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute of the match Amedeo Dragovan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zorko Andrić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Luc Ahlin got a free kick in the 28th minute. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdo Platiše in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Erol Kikelj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK Kranj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Živko Indihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Ferdo Platiše got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes NK Kočevje got a freekick which was hit by Sanel Hovnik. The NK Kočevje players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NK Kranj were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ecij Mihalek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dragoljub Kopše got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, NK Kočevje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Čedomir Birk to maneuver through the defense. Erol Kikelj's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Zorko Andrić on his right side and into the goal. 54 minutes into the game it was 0-2. Ferdo Platiše hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. NK Kranj's Rios Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rado Gruntar in the 58th minute of play. Rios Salgado came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by NK Kočevje's Ecij Mihalek. But to his dismay, Ecij Mihalek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute Čedomir Birk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rios Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Grega Majstorović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Kočevje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK Kranj the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of NK Kočevje:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NK Kranj:s goal. In the 80th minute, Živko Indihar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zorko Andrić, passed just outside the right post. If Ferdo Platiše had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Kranj's goalkeeper Rios Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When NK Kranj's Ferdo Platiše in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NK Kočevje's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute, Ferdo Platiše got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zorko Andrić was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferdo Platiše showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Rado Gruntar notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of NK Kranj's Rios Salgado. Rios Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded NK Kranj left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NK Kočevje.
