Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Medard Štefančič got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Jurček Verbec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Kočevje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greenhorns the free kick. 5 minutes into the match, Sergej Zdešar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić. Zorko Andrić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Greenhorns's Inot Petrič got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ecij Mihalek might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Osterman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ecij Mihalek ran back to his position shaking his head. Medard Štefančič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in NK Kočevje's zone, Medard Štefančič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal and Medard Štefančič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Osterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rado Gruntar in the 18th minute of the match. Zorko Andrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medard Štefančič in the 21st minute of play. Sergej Zdešar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zorko Andrić having to make a save. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medard Štefančič in the 25th minute of play. NK Kočevje's Rado Gruntar got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ecij Mihalek in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Osterman saved Greenhorns from getting behind. Henrik Osterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rado Gruntar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sergej Zdešar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenhorns's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergej Zdešar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zorko Andrić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Osterman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ecij Mihalek's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Rado Gruntar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ecij Mihalek made the kick off in the second half. Rado Gruntar scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Osterman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zorko Andrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergej Zdešar in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Ecij Mihalek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrik Osterman, 1-2. In the 64th minute of the match Juraj Juhant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zorko Andrić skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Sergej Zdešar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zorko Andrić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Egon Lapanja kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Sergej Zdešar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenhorns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergej Zdešar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Ecij Mihalek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrik Osterman. The goal made the score 2-3. When NK Kočevje's Ecij Mihalek in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Greenhorns's goalie prevented a goal. Luc Ahlin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sergej Zdešar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecij Mihalek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Osterman having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Mustafa Grilj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greenhorns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK Kočevje the free kick. Mustafa Grilj kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Greenhorns's Henrik Osterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecij Mihalek in the 95th minute of play. Rado Gruntar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Osterman having to interfere. The NK Kočevje players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Greenhorns from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
