Spectators: 9239 (Terracing: 7033, Seating: 2156, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ecij Mihalek took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mario Alberto Kempes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zorko Andrić, 1-0. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Schottler in the 9th minute of play. Zorko Andrić was a little too slow when Mario Alberto Kempes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zorko Andrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Alberto Kempes. In the 16th minute, Tim Schottler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zorko Andrić. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 19th minute, FC Barcelona's Siniša Debevec dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Zorko Andrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rado Gruntar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zorko Andrić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milovan Božnik in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Umberto Guedes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zorko Andrić, 5-0. With his leg Zorko Andrić managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FC Barcelona's Tim Schottler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. NK Kočevje's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Umberto Guedes scored to the left of an out of position Zorko Andrić, making the score, 6-0. Tim Schottler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Zorko Andrić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Barcelona's Tim Schottler was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Sanel Hovnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Kočevje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barcelona the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Schottler to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Egon Lapanja got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some careless play in the NK Kočevje defense, Mario Alberto Kempes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zorko Andrić. The NK Kočevje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zorko Andrić should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, NK Kočevje's goal looked a bit too open when Siniša Debevec came free, but Zorko Andrić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Mario Alberto Kempes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Barcelona made a substitution. Miguel Ángel Ortega replaced Umberto Guedes. In the 68th minute, Sebastian Cojan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorko Andrić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Schottler, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ecij Mihalek struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julian Chrzan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Kočevje. After 74 minutes, Tim Schottler made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Ulisses da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorko Andrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83rd play minutes Tim Schottler shot 14-0, a short shot which went by Zorko Andrić and just under the crossbar into goal. 88 minutes into the match, NK Kočevje's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Schottler came free, but Zorko Andrić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Tim Schottler. But to his dismay, Tim Schottler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Zorko Andrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 94th minute of play. Ecij Mihalek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julian Chrzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that FC Barcelona were the better team. FC Barcelona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
