Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Admir Jenko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Rado Gruntar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerhard Aubelj. Rado Gruntar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rado Gruntar got free with Gerhard Aubelj in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecij Mihalek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gerhard Aubelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jožef Slaček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Admir Jenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jožef Slaček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Admir Jenko struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zorko Andrić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sveta Ana. Gerhard Aubelj made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rado Gruntar sent off a good shot on target. In the 28thth minute of the game Ecij Mihalek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sveta Ana's Gerhard Aubelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jožef Slaček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorko Andrić having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Čedomir Birk during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NK Kočevje getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Čedomir Birk hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Ecij Mihalek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerhard Aubelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rado Gruntar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhard Aubelj having to interfere. If Ecij Mihalek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NK Kočevje's Ecij Mihalek got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerhard Aubelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ecij Mihalek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 48 minutes, Jožef Slaček managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sveta Ana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jožef Slaček was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ecij Mihalek to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sveta Ana's zone, Čedomir Birk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerhard Aubelj came out of the goal and Čedomir Birk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sveta Ana's Mitija Jelen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jožef Slaček could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Zorko Andrić made a huge save. If Admir Jenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ecij Mihalek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sveta Ana's Gerhard Aubelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecij Mihalek in the 76th minute of play. If Ecij Mihalek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerhard Aubelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecij Mihalek in the 80th minute of play. Ecij Mihalek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gerhard Aubelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Luc Ahlin got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to NK Kočevje getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Čedomir Birk hit a great ball. Ecij Mihalek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NK Kočevje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
