Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, NK Kranj's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Pikelj came free, but Rios Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Ostoja Žuža hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ostoja Žuža took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rios Salgado to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdo Platiše in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Pikelj in the 24th minute of play forced NK Kranj's goalkeeper Rios Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ferdo Platiše sped through Å entjernej ND's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek. Ostoja Žuža took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rios Salgado. NK Kranj's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, NK Kranj's Ferdo Platiše nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Živko Indihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to interfere. In the 44th minute Ostoja Žuža suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After the first half NK Kranj were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdo Platiše to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Å entjernej ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Harl to maneuver through the defense. Ferdo Platiše in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ferdo Platiše sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medin Makuc in the 56th minute of the match. NK Kranj made a substitution. Dragoljub Kopše replaced Ferdo Platiše. In the 65th minute, Elio Jokić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, NK Kranj's Dragoljub Kopše dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoljub Kopše went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After 75 minutes, Jonas Schottler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Å entjernej ND and the NK Kranj players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Å entjernej ND! Dragoljub Kopše fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, NK Kranj's Dragoljub Kopše dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Å entjernej ND's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Živko Indihar scored to the left of an out of position Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek, making the score, 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Å entjernej ND's zone, Dragoljub Kopše stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek came out of the goal and Dragoljub Kopše tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragoljub Kopše recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 97 in the game by Dragoljub Kopše from a close distance when the talented Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek managed to make a qualified save. Å entjernej ND's players were relieved. If Dragoljub Kopše had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NK Kranj's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
