Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Admir Jenko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Admir Jenko came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sveta Ana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Admir Jenko couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Admir Jenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Osterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Admir Jenko scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Osterman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergej Zdešar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gerhard Aubelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerhard Aubelj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergej Zdešar in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Medard Štefančič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerhard Aubelj was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Sergej Zdešar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerhard Aubelj. Sergej Zdešar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Medard Štefančič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhard Aubelj having to interfere. Gerhard Aubelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medard Štefančič in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Medard Štefančič fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gerhard Aubelj, passed just outside the right post. Sergej Zdešar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gerhard Aubelj made a huge save. If Medard Štefančič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medard Štefančič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Val Gostojić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medard Štefančič was the one to do the kick off. When Greenhorns's Sergej Zdešar in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sveta Ana's goalie prevented a goal. Sergej Zdešar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medard Štefančič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medard Štefančič in the 77th minute of play forced Sveta Ana's goalkeeper Gerhard Aubelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Sergej Zdešar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Sveta Ana's goal looked a bit too open when Sergej Zdešar came free, but Gerhard Aubelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergej Zdešar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhard Aubelj having to interfere. Klement Pere hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Gerhard Aubelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergej Zdešar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Jožef Slaček recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Osterman. Jožef Slaček showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Medard Štefančič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Greenhorns failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
