An unexpectedly hard shot by Burns Willding in the 2nd minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Đuro Kaloper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Burns Willding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Đuro Kaloper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Burns Willding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Đuro Kaloper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Marko Valcarce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đuro Kaloper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito defense, Burns Willding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Đuro Kaloper. The Joga Bonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Đuro Kaloper should have stopped the shot. Đuro Kaloper came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Marko Valcarce. But to his dismay, Marko Valcarce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Žarko Trobec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Đuro Kaloper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Valcarce scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Đuro Kaloper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Đuro Kaloper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burns Willding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Đuro Kaloper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Valcarce in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Burns Willding made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Đuro Kaloper was left in no man's land by his defense there! Đuro Kaloper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ken Sodja went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Žarko Trobec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Marko Valcarce made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Joga Bonito's Đuro Kaloper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marko Valcarce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Đuro Kaloper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burns Willding's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Đuro Kaloper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Giggs went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihajlo Gomboc to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Marko Valcarce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đuro Kaloper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gvido Križman to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Đuro Kaloper successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jesper Hellgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomir Mandelc in the 81st minute of the match. Burns Willdings short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Đuro Kaloper to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ken Sodja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Đuro Kaloper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burns Willding. 86 minutes into the game, NK AvtoBUM Kočevje's Vili Aćimović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Đuro Kaloper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-16. Đuro Kaloper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žarko Trobec's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When the match was over NK AvtoBUM Kočevje could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Joga Bonito throughout the match.
