Spectators: 7175 (Terracing: 5383, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Backlund started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Kasper Forssberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erling Vollander. Kasper Forssberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Daniel Backlund put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bertil Pihlwall. Kjell Öberg charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Öberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 minutes, Åke Björkdahl made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vallberga BF's Erling Vollander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Backlund in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Pihlwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Vallberga BF's Erling Vollander got control of the ball when Kasper Forssberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vallberga BF's Kjell Öberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Erling Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åryd FK's Jens-Åke Sigman got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickard Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Pihlwall having to interfere. Erling Vollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Åke Björkdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertil Pihlwall made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Luís Fernando Lira sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Pihlwall having to interfere. Daniel Backlund had several of the Åryd FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Bertil Pihlwall as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bertil Pihlwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bertil Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Pihlwall was a little too slow when Daniel Backlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 75th minute Jens-Åke Sigman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Pihlwall was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ludomir Milan. Daniel Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bertil Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Pihlwall was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ludomir Milan. Jens-Åke Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vallberga BF's Ludomir Milan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Åke Björkdahl took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Vollander. Erling Vollander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The Åryd FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vallberga BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
