Evert Björnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Fredrik Bengtsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evert Björnberg. Fredrik Bengtsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ingemar Ahlroht was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Bengtsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evert Björnberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Strongest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Västlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Strongest walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
