The referee showed Uno Lundblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uno Lundblad hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Patrick Widberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kush Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Widberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Tinglöf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Erik Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Kush Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Edvin Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Pettersson in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Erik Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin Tinglöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Löfdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Tinglöf having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Malte Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Jon Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pär Vacker in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Skoog saved Kush Kickers from getting behind. Sven-Edvin Skoog came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sundsvall United's Melker Gustafsson. But to his dismay, Melker Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kush Kickers's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Skoog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Erik Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kush Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Erik Jonsson scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin Tinglöf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jon Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malte Pettersson made a kick off. Malte Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
