After a defensive mix-up in FC Neymar's zone, Hans Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Norström came out of the goal and Hans Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mikael Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falingos FC's goalkeeper Matthias Biörnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Neymar's Claes Norström got control of the ball when Bengt-Åke Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bengt-Åke Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Neymar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Göran Wiklund hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Bergström in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Norström saved FC Neymar from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, FC Neymar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Falingos FC's Hans Bergström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claes Norström. Claes Norström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gunnar Fredriksson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Claes Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Nilsson in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Neymar's Martin Lundberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Matthias Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Neymar's Göran Wiklund got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bengt-Åke Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Claes Norström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falingos FC. Hans Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Claes Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Bengt-Åke Nilsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Neymar's Claes Norström. Claes Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After recieving a nice pass, Falingos FC's Charles Östlund tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Falingos FC's Hans Bergström in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Neymar's goalie prevented a goal. Mikael Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Biörnberg having to interfere. Hans Bergström might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Norström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Bergström ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Falingos FC booed when FC Neymar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bengt-Åke Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Bengt-Åke Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falingos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Åke Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Norström having to make a save.
