During the 86th minute of the match Hannes Olofsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hannes Olofsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Albert Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Andersson having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hofors players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
