Thor Classon's late challenge caught a Stockholms Stolthet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thor Classon helped the player get up and apologised. Thor Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Trångsviken's Sven-Åke Pettersson got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Stockholms Stolthet's Bengt-Arne Lägdin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kåre Wennerlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stockholms Stolthet reached it. In the 26th match minute, Stockholms Stolthet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Larsfelt to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Wennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Håkansson in the 31st minute of the match. Kåre Wennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Knutsson in the 32nd minute of play. Stockholms Stolthet's Sakarias Snell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Söderqvist in the 33rd minute of play. Stockholms Stolthet were furious when Lennart Friberger was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Stockholms Stolthet getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lennart Friberger hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Emil Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Wennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakarias Snell made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Söderqvist sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Håkansson in the 45th minute of play forced Trångsviken's goalkeeper Kåre Wennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Emil Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Wennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
