The audience was convinced that Morgan Månsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Mickelsson was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. If Mattias Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvin Nordin during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Rockstar's Arvin Nordin got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 13 minutes, Max Finnman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Rockstar and the Soldiers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Max Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soldiers FC's Krister Sörman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Rockstar. Karl Wästerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rickard Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Mickelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, The Rockstar's Dan Forsell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Termander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Krister Sörman hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Mattias Kristiansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Termander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mattias Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Rockstar's zone, Karl Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Mickelsson came out of the goal and Karl Wästerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rickard Mickelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldiers FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Wästerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikael Norström's late challenge caught a The Rockstar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Norström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Soldiers FC's Harry Andreasson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Rickard Mickelsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Morgan Månsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Wästerberg in the 80th minute of play forced The Rockstar's goalkeeper Rickard Mickelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morgan Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rickard Mickelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
