After some careless play in the Tobo IK defense, Ulrik Stenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agne Rosendal. The Tobo IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agne Rosendal should have stopped the shot. Ralf Josefsson's late challenge caught a Sunne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Josefsson couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tobo IK's goalkeeper Agne Rosendal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Ulrik Stenberg made the kick off in the second half. Jan Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Waller in the 69th minute of play. Ian Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Rosendal having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ulrik Stenberg notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tobo IK's Agne Rosendal. Agne Rosendal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Tobo IK's goalkeeper Agne Rosendal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulrik Stenberg. Karl-Åke Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Åke Stabbe kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Håkan Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Agne Rosendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sunne's Ulrik Stenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Sunne could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tobo IK throughout the match.
