Björn Walmarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Ligas in the 5th minute. In the 5th match minute, Smek min Lama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien-Nils Ramusch to maneuver through the defense. Olov Kellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Michael Åkerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Karl-Michael Åkerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Ligas in the 23rd minute of play forced Alafors's goalkeeper Björn Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Berglund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Michael Åkerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Kellbom went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Olov Kellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Michael Åkerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Kellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Tomasz Ligas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Walmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Alejandro Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Alafors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Smek min Lama's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Kellbom came free, but Karl-Michael Åkerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Alafors were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Kellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Olov Kellbom's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Karl-Michael Åkerberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olov Kellbom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Karl-Michael Åkerberg 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Ligas in the 72nd minute of play forced Alafors's goalkeeper Björn Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alafors's Gunnar Algren got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alafors made a substitution. Klas Zachrisson replaced Andreas Lindqvist. In the 75th minute, Gunnar Algren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Walmarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Matsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Alafors's Elias Ryberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elias Ryberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alafors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elias Ryberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Olov Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Åkerberg having to interfere. Olov Kellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Michael Åkerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Alafors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Smek min Lama.
